What’s next for Apple?

There’s no question about it – Filipinos love tech gadgets and there’s a good chance that we’ll be anticipating more amazing tech development for 2012

When the specs for the latest iPhone came out, thousands of Pinoys went online, read about it and marveled about how it so much better than the last model. Lots PH citizens today are also proud owners of the iPad and store their vast music collection in their teeny tiny iPod.

So it isn’t surprising that as 2012 rolls in, we’re poised at the edge of our seats waiting for the latest innovation from Apple, Microsoft and all those other tech manufacturers that make our lives a little bit better. That being said, following are some gadgets that just MIGHT make an entrance in 2012.

iPad 3

The iPad was a big hit when it was released a few years ago and its updated version, the iPad 2 was even better. Right now though, buyers are hoping for a tablet that would boast of an even higher resolution than the second release. Actually, some people are also asking if there’s a chance that Apple will release a smaller iPad – preferably around 7 inches. And if it goes smaller than that, we’ll have an iPad micro that looks surprisingly like an iPhone. Speaking of iPhone…

iPhone 5

It’s possible that the iPhone 5 will make its grand entrance in the year of the Dragon. If it does happen, Apple followers should expect an announcement in the middle of the year. One thing for sure though is that it will be better than the iPhone 4 which is a good thing because many buyers were actually disappointed with how the iPhone 4 turned out.

Apple TV

Rumors about a possible TV from Apple have surfaced as early as 2009 but were dashed by the tech giant. With Job’s passing this year, his biography revealed hints that the Apple CEO was plotting the development of an Apple TV which mimics the iPhone and iPod in simplicity and elegance. Would Apple choose to develop this dream TV? We’ll find out within the next 12 months.
