Tired of Cebu? Not just yet. This constantly developing city has more to offer tourists, both local and international

Every year, Cebu seems to be welcoming thousands if not millions of tourists within their city. This isn’t really surprising considering the many attractions in this well developed area. From Magellan’s Cross to Lapu-Lapu’s Monument, this bustling Metropolitan really has dozens to offer its tourists.

However, Cebu doesn’t just offer old dishes for the ever changing palate of the tourists. The oldest city in the country is constantly reinventing itself by providing bigger and better tourists destinations. Right now, one of the most heart-pumping attractions is located at the top of the Crown Regency Hotel and Towers.

And no – we’re not just talking about a walk on the roof. Instead, tourists will find themselves experiencing the world’s FIRST EVER Edge Coaster. It’s literally a coaster that runs around the edge of the hotel, thousands of feet above the ground. Riders are then locked to their seat to ensure safety while they are toured around the edge, providing them with a 360 degree view of the city. When done at night, you could literally see this bustling metropolis wakening up to the nightlife. It’s a beautiful view up there, barring some of the fear of course.

This Sky Experience Adventure is available for anyone who cares to walk in, whether they’re born and bred Cebuano’s or lucky tourists. There’s also a Sky Walk Extreme for those who would like to see the view but prefer to feel solid concrete on their feet.

Of course, don’t forget about Cebu’s shopping experience - second only to Manila in terms of commercial paradise. Tourists, especially those hailing from other cities aside from the capital – will find themselves feasting on a wide array of cheap products as “pasalubong”.

Naturally, the old Cebu haunts such as the Basilica Minore del Santo Nino, the country’s oldest church. However, Cebu has definitely more to offer every time you decide to come back. For those who want to check it out, rates and schedules are available at the official website.
