Is Grace Lee the New Shalani?

The famous Korean magic also worked on the nation's president.

Disc Jockey/ TV Host Korean Grace Lee is currently getting a lot of attention from the media and the country alike. Little did people know that this Korean DJ has captured President Aquino's heart. It is only just recently that PNoy himself admitted, during the anniversary celebration of the Philippine Information Agency, that YES they are indeed seeing each other. This issue has raised eyebrows since Lee, although having grown up and spending her college years here in the Philippines is still pure Korean.

The negative comments do not seem to affect Lee, however. She accommodates interviews and answers all the  questions thrown at her. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big Grace Lee fan nor did I vote for Aquino, but I think they both deserve a break. I'm pretty sure the President knows his limitations and responsibilities. Let’s cut them some slack because when he was still dating ex-girlfriend Shalani Soledad, who's now happily married to Congressman Romulo, everyone approved of her.

Why can't we do the same for Grace Lee? Is it because she’s not Filipino? I think PNoy should prove himself him more now so that no one would ever doubt his capability to rule this country as well as have a decent lovelife. These two love birds deserve to be happy and hopefully, an inspired President will be working harder for us. Don't you think?
