As young film director Paul Soriano and multi-media artist Toni Gonzaga go through their fifth year of being in a relationship, their fans and followers are giddy about how fresh and romantic they have remained. Are wedding bells soon to ring for this beautiful young couple?

In an intrigue-laden industry such as show business, it is not easy to maintain a meaningful relationship.  Soriano and Gonzaga admits that the past four years is no walk in the park in the intrigue department, but when Gonzaga asked Soriano if she is worth all the trouble, Soriano was quick to quip “yes, yes, yes.”  Gonzaga was not as quick to respond when Soriano turned the tables and asked her when she will be ready to get married, answering “later na lang. pinagmamadali mo ko!” after a few seconds of being tongue-tied.

As Soriano turns 30 in the coming month, he reveals that he believes that he is ready to settle down and is only waiting for Gonzaga to tell him if and when she is ready to start building a family.  Gonzaga, though, repeatedly tells reporters that marriage and starting a family are not part of her plans just yet.  Admittedly, while both of them are sure about marrying each other, they do have a lot of growing up to do in terms of their careers.  When the right time comes, Gonzaga says she will be willing to share her decision with the whole world.

Gonzaga will be seen on-screen donning a wedding gown in her latest film offering “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi.”  This Joey Reyes comedy tackles marriage and weddings in the comedic yet realistic portrayals of Gonzaga and co-actors Eugene Domingo, Zanjoe Marudo, and Wendell Ramos.  Soriano, on the other hand, is scheduled to premier his indie film “Thelma” first week of September.  “Thelma” relates the story of a barrio lass who makes a bid to improve her life and the life of her family by capitalizing on her gift for running.  Soriano’s round of television appearances and interviews is part of his film’s promotional campaign.  Both films are brought to the theaters by Star Cinema.
